Warranty Policy

GENERAL INFORMATION

We are a premier manufacturer and supplier of branded recreational accessories for the diving markets on a global scale. We generally distribute our products through our dealerships and sales team, while some of them are also available via our online store (http://www.skywoodsled.com/). Please make sure to follow the instructions included with each item, any additional information on the Web (specifically about the product’s design features, selection, and use), as well as the directions in the user manual when purchasing our products.

WARRANTY PERIOD

Our liability is limited to the obligations listed below unless forbidden by required law. The legal warranty only covers problems that are identified during the warranty period. When products are delivered, the two-year term for transportable products officially begins. The consumer must inform Skywoods of any concern with the products within two months of the date of identification.

EXCLUSIONS FROM THE WARRANTY

The warranty does not cover:

Defects resulting from the product’s regular use and usage
Defects put on purposely
Defects resulting from inappropriate storage or shipment by the consumer or the logistics provider.
Improper or wrong use, inadequate or improper maintenance, or product care-related flaws or damage5. Defects caused by non-compliance with the user manual
Defects caused by improper assembly or adjustment
Defects based on changes the consumer made to the product.
Defects caused by a fall, abnormal pressure, rotary tension, compression, a sharp object, or other factors.

The warranty is invalid if

The product has been modified or fixed by anyone other than Skywoods or a Skywoods dealership.
Unauthorized replacement parts were used to repair the product.
The product’s serial number has been edited, changed, removed, or rendered illegible.

LIABILITY EXEMPTION

We take no responsibility for damage or consequential damage resulting from the use of the product, regardless of whether such a claim is based on the purchase contract, on a legal warranty claim, or negligence, or whether the claim concerns damage to property other than the product itself, loss about the use of the product or another asset object, or loss of profit.

This warranty may not be transferred or assigned, to the rights granted.
